and blood rushes to his face

can no longer grow bigger
because it is already too big

when he walks around with the tightness
in his belly all the time
like a barrel of water concealed

Do you know what a Fat man feels like
when he is hungry and
there is no more food around
and his stomach makes disconcerting noises

Do you know what a Fat man feels like
when he reads reports of crash dieters dying
by following improper diet
and feels happy he did not try that hard

Do you know what a Fat man feels like
when he reads reports of skinny people
trying hard to gain weight
and failing because it is not easy
