What is Light

what is light
but a spot of happiness
what is sadness
but a spot of blue
like an ink it waters the grey light of the mind
but you just need one
simple single yellow shining little light
to go on
like a lonely fish lost
in the big and dark ocean
all alone staring into the nothingness
a pin of light is all it needs
all love descends from it
warm happiness flows through it
like a mothers embrace
and a fathers tap on my tender shoulders
there is not much that this heart needs
to move and dance and flow
like a fish in a stream
sometimes i think of you as
one of those little points
of my past
fast fading into nothingness
as memories fade and we
change into new things
from old things
wishing we could go back
and wishing we could grow
torn apart like this
molded and melded we move on
like a little bundle of wool
dropping down a flight of stairs
and unraveling into
something new
